It might be November, but the garden is not done yet: while there are bound to be dull, damp, miserable days, there’ll also be crisp days of sparkling sunshine when you’ll be glad to get outdoors. Garden visiting at this time of year can be surprisingly rewarding, when there’ll always be a few late flowers to enjoy and you can really appreciate the bones of the garden: the evergreens that give it structure. And don’t forget that this is a great time for planting trees and shrubs and moving any plant you’ve decided is in the wrong place.
